Introduction of walled belt conveyor:
For structure of walled belt conveyor, freely retractable rubber wave-type vertical “skirt” is pasted on both sides of flat-shaped rubber belt, and diaphragm plate with certain strength and flexibility is pasted between the skirts to form a box-shaped bucket, so as to continuously convey materials. Walled belt conveyor can be widely used in such sectors involving coal, food, building material, chemical engineering, hydropower and metallurgy. When ambient temperature is between -19℃ and +40℃, the walled belt conveyor can convey various bulk materials with bulk specific weight being 3. For such materials requiring special delivery as the material containing high-temperature ingredient, acid ingredient, alkaline ingredient, oil matter or organic solvent, special walled conveyor belt shall be provided. Currently, the large-slope angle walled belt conveyor manufactured in our factory has three belt widths, i.e. B500, B650 and B800. Stacking density of material conveyed is within 0.5~2.5t/m3, and working temperature is between -19℃ and +40℃. Since special walled conveyor belt material is required for conveying the material containing high-temperature ingredient, acid & alkaline ingredients, oil matter or organic solvent, we can customize large-slope angle belt conveyor for special transportation based on client’s demands.
Main application of walled belt conveyor:
Walled belt conveyor is a kind of conveying equipment generally used to continuously deliver bulk materials, and adopts the conveyor belt with wave-type skirt board and diaphragm plate. Therefore, it is very suitable for the delivery with large-slope angle.
The walled belt conveyor can be used in such industries involving coal, chemistry, building material, metallurgy, electricity, light industry, food, port and ship. It can convey various bulk materials with bulk specific weight, when ambient humidity is within -15℃--+40℃.
For conveying such special materials as the material containing high-temperature ingredient, acid ingredient, alkaline ingredient, oil matter or organic solvent, special conveyor belt is required.
Walled belt conveyor has the conveying inclination angle being within 0°-90°.
Arrangement form of a complete walled belt conveyor:
To provide favorable feeding and discharging conditions, the conveyor is laid in “Z” type, namely, upper horizontal section, inclined section and lower horizontal section are set. Feeding is done at lower horizontal section and discharging at upper horizontal section. In the convex arc part between upper horizontal section and inclined section, the conveyor rack is connected together; and in the concave arc part between inclined section and lower horizontal section, the conveyor rack is also connected together, so as to make the sharp bend of the conveyor belt smooth and mild.
Upper horizontal section: In order to meet different requirements on discharging heights, conveyor headstock is divided into low headstock (with a height of H0=1000mm), medium-height headstock (with a height of H0=1100~1500mm) and high headstock (with a height of H0=1600~2000mm). Accordingly, at the upper horizontal section, low rack for convex arc part and low middle rack leg (with headstock height of H0=1000mm), medium-height rack for convex arc part and medium-height middle rack leg (with headstock height of H0=1100~1500mm), and high rack for convex arc part and high middle rack leg (with headstock height of H0=1600~2000mm) are set.
Inclined section: No matter whether low, medium-height or high middle rack leg is used in upper horizontal section, low middle rack leg is used in inclined section. When the inclined angle of conveyor is β≧45°, II type low middle rack leg is recommended.
Lower horizontal section: Low middle rack leg is used in the section.

Component name and application of walled belt conveyor:
Wave-type walled conveyor belt: It plays the role of dragging and carrying materials in conveyor. Wave-type flange, diaphragm plate and base band form a “box-shaped” container to convey materials with a large inclined angle.
Driving device: It supplies power for the conveyor, and consists of Y series motor, ZJ type shaft-mounted reducer and wedge-type backstop.
Driving pulley: It is the main component of power transmission. The conveyor belt runs by virtue of the frictional force between driving pulley and it. This series of driving pulley is divided into rubber-faced one and smooth one.
Turnabout pulley: It is used in the lower surface (not the carrying surface) of the conveyor belt, to change the running direction of conveyor belt.
Pressure roller: It is used in the upper surface (carrying surface) of the conveyor belt, to change the running direction of conveyor belt.
Idler: It is used for bearing conveyor belt and materials attached on it, to make the belt run stably. It is divided into upper parallel idler and lower parallel idler.
Belt-bearing idler: It is used on the rack of convex arc part to support the lower leg of conveyor belt. Its supports are set in the space field at both sides of walled conveyor belt. Several sets of belt-bearing idlers form an arc section to change the direction of conveyor belt. Cantilever support is adopted for the belt-bearing idler.
Vertical idler: It is used to ensure that the conveyor belt will not be off track, and mounted on racks of upper and lower transition sections, with 4 vertical idlers on the rack of each transition section, 2 on the upper transition section and 2 on the lower transition section.
Flapping cleaning device: It is used to flap the backface of conveyor belt, so as to shake out the materials attached on it.
Take-up device: roles:1)make sure sufficient tension of conveyor belt, and ensure no slip occurs between the conveyor belt and driving pulley.
2) limit the dip of conveyor belt between bearings, to make the conveyor operate normally.
Spiral take-up device is used for this series of conveyor.
Rack, head hopper, head cover, feed chute, middle rack, middle rack leg and others: They are used for bearing, proofing dust and guiding material. This series of middle rack leg is divided into low, medium-height and high types. At lower horizontal section and inclined section, only low middle rack leg is provided; however, at upper horizontal section, different middle rack legs (low, medium-height and high types) are set based on specific headstock (low, medium-height and high types).
